Happy Weekend... I gotta tell you- I thought this one would NEVER get here! Here's gossip:
BRITNEY- "WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?"
BRITNEY SPEARS discusses the INSANITY that has engulfed her life over the past few years in an upcoming MTV special called "For the Record". It's a 90-minute show, and it airs November 30th at 10:00 P.M. Britney's new album, "Circus", comes out two days later, on December 2nd . . . which is Britney's 27th birthday.
They're not giving us anything JUICY from the show yet, but here are a few quotes . . .
"I sit there and I'll look back and I'm like, 'I'm a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?'"
"I've been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there's a lot that people don't know."
"Sometimes I think I get kind of lonely because you don't open the gate up that much, you know I mean? You're guarded. You have to be that way, so I'm kind of stuck in this place and it's like: How do you deal? And you just cope, and that's what I do. I just cope with it, every day."

ANGELINA JOLIE BREASTFEEDING
When most guys try to take a picture of their wives breast-feeding, they get called PERVERTS. But when BRAD PITT does it, he's an ARTIST.
Brad did a whole photo shoot of ANGELINA JOLIE and their family for the November issue of "W" magazine. It'll be on newsstands October 21st.
And the cover shot is of Angelina breast-feeding one of their newborn twins . . . either Knox or Vivienne. She says, quote, "When you look at them, it's like they were made for each other. They smile at each other, sniff each other, touch each other. It's just beautiful.
"They're totally sweet. They already have completely different personalities. Knox is more the quiet one, very relaxed, while Viv is a little more aggressive and loud."
As for who they look like, Angelina give the standard parental answer . . . quote, "Knox looks more like Brad and Viv more like me."
One last note that has nothing to do with any of the Jolie-Pitt children: Angelina admits she had a hard time quitting her pregnancy diet . . . which mainly consisted of French fries, ice cream and HOT POCKETS.
BRAD CONVINCED ANGIE TO GET PREGNANT
When BRAD PITT first started courting ANGELINA JOLIE, he told her he wanted to have babies with her. And Angelina went ahead and stole him from JENNIFER ANISTON, even though that was nowhere on her list of goals.
She says, quote, "I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do."
But something happened over the course of time that changed Angelina's mind: Brad STOPPED WANTING IT.
She says, quote, "He stopped talking about having [biological] kids, so I suppose in my heart I realized that he was happy with [our adopted children] completely. I knew he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace.
"Then I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to it. I suddenly wanted to."
MORE EVA LONGORIA PREGNANCY RUMORS
EVA LONGORIA continues to say that her extra weight is the result of having to chub up for her role on "Desperate Housewives" . . . and NOT a baby belly. But a gossip blogger at E! Online says differently. Apparently, this guy talked to someone who works at a spa where Eva was recently pampered. And he said, quote, "There's no fat there, just baby."
HUGH HEFNER NEW GIRLS NEXT DOOR ARE CRIMINALS
HUGH HEFNER'S two newest hoes will be bringing CRIMINAL RECORDS to the Playboy Mansion.
19-year-old twins KARISSA and KRISTINA SHANNON were arrested back in January, after they teamed up to deliver a BEAT-DOWN to a girl at a party this past January.
According to TMZ, Kristina got into an argument with a girl at the party . . . and Karissa came up behind the chick and smacked her on the head with a beer bottle. Then they jumped her and delivered a synchronized clobbering.
Karissa and Kristina ended up getting probation, and had to pay restitution to the victim . . . who had suffered a concussion.
Karissa also has a separate battery charge on her record from 2007.
PIRATES 4 NEWS
TIM BURTON and JOHNNY DEPP have done SIX movies together already. And they've got a SEVENTH in the works . . . that being "Alice in Wonderland".
The "Guinness Book of World Records" has already recognized them as the top-earning duo in movie history. And now they might be planning yet another collaboration.
There's word on the World Wide Web of Movie Gossip that Burton might direct Johnny in the fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie.
There's also a rumor going around that Johnny's character, Captain Jack Sparrow, will have a brother . . . who could be played by either SACHA BARON COHEN or RUSSELL BRAND (the guy who hosted this year's VMA awards).
Again, all of this is sitting on a very shaky foundation at this point, and it could all turn out to be COMPLETELY UNTRUE. Obviously, we'll keep you posted.
MADONNA IS A BITCH!

MADONNA is a demanding diva even to her peers. The Swedish pop star Robyn was psyched when the Material Mom invited her to open for a handful of her European concerts but quickly found out there are rules. Robyn told her hometown Swedish paper that she and her crew were told "not to approach Madonna, not to speak to Madonna and, above all, no pictures . . . I hadn't expected any glamour, but it's strange that they assume that the first thing you're gonna do is run after Madonna and ask for an autograph. My worst nightmare would be to turn into Madonna . . . Madonna is constantly chasing the latest trends."

NICOLE RICHIE IS DOMESTICATED

Look who's handy in the kitchen now: Nicole Richie!
"Food tastes better coming from your Mom because it's made with love," says the new mom, 27. So Richie purees steamed vegetables to make homemade baby food for the couple's 9-month old daughter, Harlow Winter Kate Madden.
Though Richie told PEOPLE in 2005, "I'm not domestic at all. I can't cook, I don't clean," she now mashes up everything from apples to green beans and bananas for her daughter.
Her boyfriend Joel Madden backs her culinary efforts 100-percent.
"We talk about it all the time," says the Good Charlotte frontman, 29. "It's an energy thing. I know exactly what's going into [Harlow's] body."
"Her first food was sweet potatoes and she loved it," recalls Richie. "She ate the whole thing and it was all over the place – in her hair, on her nose, everywhere!"
Madden proudly declares he feeds Harlow "all the time," but adds that she has an independent streak.
"She likes to do it on her own," he says with a smile.
HILLS SPIN-OFF SET
MTV is developing a spin-off of "The Hills", which will follow WHITNEY PORT as she continues her fashion career in New York City. The new series will be called "The City" . . . and it's scheduled to premiere sometime early next year
THE BEEF ISN’T OVER BETWEEN TINA AND ARETHA
Back in February, BEYONCé irked ARETHA FRANKLIN when she introduced TINA TURNER as, quote, "The Queen" . . . at the Grammy Awards.
Obviously, Aretha's (sizeable) panties became bunched because SHE has forever been known as "The Queen of Soul". Afterwards, Aretha put Beyoncé ON BLAST . . . calling the dis, quote, "A cheap shot for controversy."
Tina didn't respond to this insanity at the time. However, now that she's kicked off a new tour . . . she has finally decided to weigh in. Recently, she told "USA Today", quote, "She's the queen of soul . . . and I'm the queen of rock 'n' roll. There were so many kings and queens there that night. Her ego must be so big to think she was the only one. That's how queens are!"
As we all know by now, Aretha takes this "queen" title SERIOUSLY . . . so she DOES NOT accept Tina's explanation. Aretha . . . who said that she's never met Tina . . . replied that Tina, quote, "clearly was talking about herself" in terms of ego.
She added, quote, "I never figured her to resort to tacky press just to sell a few tickets. I really had put her in a different class . . . higher than that. No one has been more gracious to their peers than I have, and I am confident and secure enough to do so, unlike some others."
CARRIE UNDERWOOD DATING A “BACHELOR”?
According to the "New York Daily News", CARRIE UNDERWOOD had an intimate lunch with TRAVIS STORK at a restaurant in Canada. Stork was in the Paris edition of "The Bachelor" . . . and he's currently on the talk show "The Doctors".
The original report comes from a blog, so there's no confirmation, but you never know. Anyway, Carrie and Travis supposedly had lunch together at a restaurant in Canada. And if there is any kind of fire between these two, well, they hid it pretty well.
They winked at each other a couple of times, held hands . . . and then she asked him to check her teeth for spinach. That's it.
"The Doctors" is basically a medical version of "Dr. Phil". Stork is an emergency room doctor at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
JANET JACKSON RESUMES TOUR AFTER ILLNESS

Janet Jackson, who recently postponed a string of shows due to an undisclosed illness, will resume her Rock Witchu Tour this weekend.
"Janet, who has been under her doctor's care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever," says a statement from promoter Live Nation to Access Hollywood.
Her first concert back will be on Saturday in Uncasville, Conn.
The singer, 42, was forced to postpone shows in Montreal, Greensboro, N.C., Boston, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., following a brief hospitalization Sept. 29 in Montreal just hours before her concert was scheduled to start.
Doctors later advised her to rest until she was fully recuperated from her illness, causing her to postpone more shows.
Jackson kicked off her North American tour in Vancouver on Sept. 10.
TAYLOR SWIFT TEAMS WITH DEF LEPPARD
TAYLOR SWIFT taped her "CMT Crossroads" episode with DEF LEPPARD on Monday, and it sounds like it totally rocked. Singer JOE ELLIOTT sure loved it, quote, "This is working really well. This has been gelling real tight. It's a lot of fun."
But it almost didn't happen. Taylor contacted (Def Leppard) drummer RICK ALLEN about a year ago to do "Crossroads", but he had no idea who she was, so he blew her off. But they kept hearing about her so they decided to check her out.
Joe Elliott explains, quote, "We Googled her, we iTuned her, listened to her and said, 'Wow.' Then we looked at how many records she was selling and looked at how young and pretty she is."
Their episode of "CMT Crossroads" airs November 7th.
CHERYL BURKE HAPPY WITH EXTRA POUNDS

When bloggers called out Cheryl Burke for putting on a few pounds, the Dancing with the Stars pro fought back. But what upset her most, she says, is the unhealthy body image issues promoted by such stories.
“I want kids or women out there to realize you don’t have to be anorexic to be beautiful,” the two-time Dancing champ tells PEOPLE exclusively. “There’s a lot of pressure living this Hollywood life. People expect to see you at a certain weight and when you gain a few pounds then all of a sudden it’s the talk of the week.”
Burke, 24, says she is secure with her looks–and she advises fans to be true to themselves.
“People will always have an opinion about you, whether it’s good or it’s bad,” she says. “But most important is to have a secure feeling about yourself and know that you’re beautiful regardless of what people think of you.”
Burke, who owns her own dance studio in San Francisco, admits it’s taken years for her to learn to embrace her curves.
“When I was younger, I wasn’t stick thin. I wasn’t tall. I don’t have long legs. I wasn’t naturally skinny,” she confesses. “As I grew older, I just became more comfortable in my own skin.” – Monica Rizzo

--"Body of Lies" - starring Leonardo DiCaprio as a CIA operative on the trail of a terrorist leader who's been operating out of Jordan. Russell Crowe plays his manipulative CIA handler. It's directed by "Gladiator's" Ridley Scott but this isn't the trim and fit Russell Crowe from "Gladiator". It's a super-sized version. Crowe actually put on 63 POUNDS for his role. (R)
--"City of Ember" - a sci-fi movie starring Bill Murray, Tim Robbins and a couple of kids. Some kind of catastrophe forces the last survivors of the human race into an underground city designed to last 200 years. Unfortunately, time's up . . . and no one remembers the way out. (PG)
--"The Express" - starring Dennis Quaid and "Coach Carter's" Rob Brown. Brown plays Syracuse University running back Ernie Davis, who overcame the intense racism of 1961 to become the first African-American to win the Heisman Trophy. Dennis Quaid plays his coach. (PG)
--"Quarantine" - a horror flick starring "Dexter's" Jennifer Carpenter, "Heroes" minx Dania Ramirez, "Hostel's" Jay Hernandez and "Stomp the Yard's" Columbus Short. Imagine being trapped inside an apartment that the CDC has quarantined for some deadly infection. Now imagine that all the infected tenants have been turned into bloodthirsty savages and any attempt you make to escape the building will get you shot on sight. Good times. (R)
