The Disney heartthrob has been approached to take over from Harry Potter actor DANIEL RADCLIFFE in controversial Broadway play Equus. Zac let slip at the London premiere of High School Musical 3, saying: "You know that Daniel Radcliffe role on Broadway, well it's been mentioned.” He is clearly hoping to shed his wholesome image, having just finished shooting period drama Me and Orson Welles alongside CLAIRE DANES. The pint-sized star is also set to team up with High School Musical director KENNY ORTEGA again for a remake of 80s flick Footloose. VANESSA HUDGENS' beau will take on the role originally made famous by Hollywood A-lister KEVIN BACON. But despite his success, Zac revealed he could still "mess up" and is hoping to get advice from the elite. He said: ''I would love to just sit down and talk with LEONARDO DICAPRIO and JOHNNY DEPP and pick their brains about their early careers. ''They do it because they love it, not because they enjoy being famous. You have to have good foresight and be really careful. Britney Spears poses seductively in an ad for her brand new perfume, HIDDEN fantasy. The scent - described in a press release as being "all about expressing the many, mysterious sides of a woman" - will hit stores January 2009. In the television ad, Spears, 26, will appear through trees in a forest and ask, "What do you have to hide?" Spears already has six perfumes: Curious, Fantasy, In Control, Midnight Fantasy, Believe and Curious Heart. Her original, Curious, earned $100 million in sales in the five weeks after its 2004 release. The singer has been hard at work on her next album, Circus, which will drop Dec. 2 (her 27th birthday). The first single, Womanizer, premiered on NYC's Z100 radio station Sept. 26. The video - which a source describes to Usmagazine.com as being full of "erotic choreography" - debuts Friday night on 20/20. Heidi Klum with NO makeup!??

Britney Spears has gone on the record about her troubles of the last several years in a new documentary for MTV, focusing on her pop comeback.
“I sit there and I look back and I’m like, ‘I’m a smart person.’ Like, ‘What the hell was I thinkin’?’” the singer says in a sneak preview of new documentary tentatively titled “For The Record,” set to air November 30 on MTV. The 90-minute documentary, airing two days before the release of her new album “Circus,” focuses on Britney’s comeback, but in the clip currently on MTV.com, she opens up about her personal life and loneliness. “Sometimes it can get kind of lonely because you don’t open the gate up that much, you know what I mean?” she asked. “You’re guarded. You have to be that way. So I’m kind of stuck in this place and it’s like how do you deal and just cope and that’s what I do. I just cope with it, every day.” According to MTV.com, “For the Record” features behind the scenes footage and personal stories from Britney herself. “I recorded the album,” Britney told the cameras. “I’ve recorded a lot of songs and it’s that process where the fun stuff starts to come. “It never stopped being fun for me,” she added. “I really always liked what I did.”
